About the project
ACT4 is a small production team with an extensive network and ambitions well beyond Iceland. They wanted a website that would stand out when broadcasters, buyers and financiers looked them up. We found common ground in a punk direction.
A punk direction in type and layout
Large, condensed type and black-and-white panels give the website a bold appearance. The homepage places its headline opposite footage from ACT4’s productions, with vertical navigation to one side. The layout draws on newspaper front pages, giving both the words and the imagery room.
Content panels reference cinema tickets through perforation lines and semicircular notches. They introduce the company and its approach, while larger image areas present the film and television work.
