Our approach

We wanted to create a place where a good idea would have room to grow and people willing to question it.

It needs both. At Revera, people with different experience sit at the same table and ask different questions. That makes the work more interesting and the ideas stronger.

We develop our own products and take on projects for clients. In both, we want to understand what's worth making and take care in bringing it into use. We're as interested in how an idea holds up as we are in its initial promise.

How we work

Understand the project
We start with your business, the people who will use the product and what you want to achieve. We look at what exists, what works and what needs rethinking. You don't need a fully formed idea to begin.
Plan the work
Together, we define the scope, set priorities and agree on a plan. We consider content, structure and the main user journeys alongside technical requirements. That gives us a clear view of what needs to happen and in what order.
Find the design direction
We explore different visual directions and discuss them with you. Once we agree on an approach, we develop the screens, pages and interactions. Prototypes help us try the flow and make decisions before moving further.
Build the product
Design and development work together as we build the product and connect the systems it needs. We choose the technology to fit the project and keep you involved, so you can review the work and give feedback as it develops.
Test and launch
We check functionality, content and presentation across screen sizes. We test the main user journeys, resolve issues and prepare for launch with you. Your team gets guidance on the parts it will manage itself.
Keep improving
After launch, we provide maintenance and support and continue working with you on changes. Feedback from users and new business needs help us decide what comes next. The website or product should be able to develop with the business.

The team

We come from different backgrounds and take different routes to an answer. That's part of why we like working together.

Our experience spans project management, graphic design, app development, the games industry and building software companies. We bring it into the work and keep learning from each other.

Revera was founded on 1 January 2025 by Birgir Hrafn Birgisson, Bjarki Steinn Birgisson and Þórdís Jóna Ingigerðardóttir, together with Andri Már and Arnar Gísli from Digido. Birgir is CEO, Bjarki is CDO and Þórdís is CTO. Andri Már and Arnar Gísli contribute in an advisory capacity outside the day-to-day running of the company.
